Hey,
I eat a ton of eggs everyday. They are a wonderful source of protein and taste great. However, one eggs contains almost a whole days worth of cholesterol (71%). I know eggs are a lifter's best friend but is the high amount of cholesterol worth the benefits eggs produce??? I'd like some of your input on the nutrition of eggs and the amount you eat...

You're about to be told about 1000 times that the cholesterol in eggs doesn't have anything to do with your blood cholesterol levels. Do a search for more info.

Dietary cholesterol has little effect on blood cholesterol levels, especially when you're active.

pros: delicious, nutritious, dirt cheap, versatile, widely available, yellow
cons: PITA to clean my pan afterwards

To abate your concern about egg consumption, I suggest you read: Are the Current Dietary Guidelines Regarding Egg Consumption Appropriate? (Are the Current Dietary Guidelines Regarding Egg Consumption Appropriate?

You'd think after this long of so many bodybuilders eating copious amounts of eggs that there would be an epidemic of cholesterol issues in all bodybuilders who fit this scene...

...but there isn't.

Pro:
They are yellow/orange (I like yellow/orange colors)
They taste good
They are cheap
They contain many nutrients

Cons:
They are messy to crack.
They make my farts smell like eggs.
They are rounded and small, but are difficult to juggle. I have an obsessive compulsion to juggle small rounded objects

Where I live, eggs are $1/dozen. So this has become my main protein/fat source. Lately because of my tightening budget, I've been upping my egg intake. Went from 2-3 a year ago, to 4 a day, and lately 6 a day. Which reminds me I'm down to my last 2 dozen.

The only downside is having to use ever increasing pan sizes.

Eat your god damn eggs and quit asking us if it's okay. Only your blood tests can tell you if it's okay.
