Lulz. In before idiots (one in particular) point to his QB rating. Good work racking up the completions on your own side of the field, Peyton. Too bad you kept settling for Vinatieri field goals and it bit you in the ass.

You're right. Insurmountable amount of points that the D left him to overcome. How on earth was he expected to put up over 17 points?

16 points is on Peyton. He got beat. He has slowed down finally. He still is crazy good, but he is not quite as good this year as he was last year.

1 TD doesn't cut it in the playoffs. Vinny had a better game than Manning. Manning didn't do anything to win this game, so yes, you can easily blame him. brb you can never blame the offense for the loss if they put up at least 2 points on the board, it's the defenses fault for not shutting out the other team. Always.

Yep. When things go right, Manning is running the offense, and he is a genuis, a student of the game, god amongst men. When things go wrong, blame Caldwell for calling the plays...

Jesus the Peyton haters on this board are unreal.

I don't really care either way, but lettuce be reality. The Colts are, overall, fukin terrible. If people are honestly going to bash him after that loss, it just proves they're blind haters.

Stop acting like you belong to some football clique and call it how it is. The Colts lost to a better team.

oh, but 0 td's[mark sanchez], does cut it? Yeah, I guess sanchez must've played better since the jets won, and as we all know from sports misc logic football is a 1 v 1 game between the two quarterbacks.

No, the jets TEAM played better by keeping peyton manning OFF the field for a large part of the 2nd half. Good job by the jets, and they also got some special teams help at the end. Good team win for the jets....in no way was it mannings fault. Some of you guys are as pointed out either blind haters or ****ing retards

Is that your defense of Manning? That he outplayed the worst starting QB in the NFL? Sanchez play brutal. Manning played ok. When people keep anointing you GOAT, ok doesn't cut it.

But the logic is that the quarterback is the only one of the field that counts. So basically, according to misc logic, the better quarterback wins the game every time.

But oh I forgot, when it's not lebron or manning, if a team loses it has nothing to do with one player. But if the colts or cavs/heat lose. It's lebron and manning. Boy those players lost it for their teams!!

you are totally missing the point..teams can win in spite of qb;s but when you are talking about the greatest of all time, you'd think that player could make enough difference to not be one and done 7 times in the first round (4 at home) and be able to score more than 17 points on more than 1 of those occasions.

sanchez was awful too but no one is claiming he is the goat or comparing him to manning

Just stop talking. Manning only got to the endzone once. Settling for field goals may have worked for him when the Colts went all the way a few years back, but it won't work all the time. He's just lucky the opposing QB was completely inept and the game was even close.

settling for field goals worked for brady though? right?

Brady didn't do **** in any of those superbowls....they were low scoring, defensive games...just like this.....brady put vinaterri in position for a late field goal....just like this.....

the only difference is that they were a well coached team that didn't commit stupid special teams mistakes in crucial situations...and the defense actually came up big for them.
