HC maybe, but I am pleased we hired him as new DC.

Of course the ideal option would have been to still fire Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Why the hell wasn't Kubiak fired? I don't follow the Texans too closely, but he seems like he is their biggest problem. I know people say the Texans don't have a good defense, but Kubiak is really holding that team back.

As a Dallas fan, I will admit that this is probably a good hire. Wade seems to be a much better coordinator than head coach.

Plus, the odds of Texans fans seeing his confused look on the sidelines will probably be minimal.

Although it is ironic considering that Dallas probably had a bottom-five defense this year.

Edit: Dallas allowed the second-most points in the league this year. Only Denver allowed more.

lol, week 3 half the threads on this board were Cowboys and Texans raging about their coaches needing to be fired.

Now they both coach on the same coaching staff. Texans trolling their fans pretty hard.

Cowboys were literally 31st out of 32 teams in points given up per game.

Dallas allowed the second-most points in the league (yes, more than Houston) this year.

Dallas scored the seventh-most points, including outscoring 8 of the 12 playoff teams.

Very happy about this move.

I mean, I was dissapointed when they announced Kubiak would be coming back, but the hiring of Wade makes me happy.

I dont know what everyone is crying about

Wade is a GREAT DC, not so great head coach

If our defense gets as good as our offense then we playoffs now

LMAO. Wade is a good DC. The Cowgirls players were trolling him and garrett tasted blood in the water and sabotaged him.

Chargers defense was good and Cowboys defense had been good up to before this years trolling.

My only problem with this hire is it seems like they just went out and bought the shiney car they had their eye on without test driving any others.

Ah well. Wade's a proven coordinator and he's not just another Kubiak lap dog.

This is such a good hire that it could bring us back to the glory days of 9-7.
