They gave them UConn just to help him out. Any of the other teams in the BCS bowls would've beat Oklahoma.

#2 in BCS appearances. If it wasn't Oklahoma, no one would have anything to say about it. 4 of the last 5 Big 12 championships, and if I'm not mistaken, winningest coach in the FBS. And losing to good BSU, USC, Florida, and WVU teams is not choking. USC and Florida in particular were incredible teams.

No, but losing 5 in a row doesn't look good on the resume.

not sure if srs

OU plays in a joke conference and gets routinely embarrassed by superior competition when they have to leave their conference at the end of the year.

5 straight BCS losses, who the **** cares if you have the most appearances, you only add to the loss column in the record books.

watSorry, I should have elaborated, I meant the highest win percentage of current coaches.

129–31 (.806)

The Big 12 is a joke conference, huh.

SEC homer, no longer taking anything you say seriously. I can admit that the SEC is better than the Big 12, but the Big 12 is far from a joke. Are you so used to flame wars with BC02 that you feel the need to make idiotic statements like that?

oh, and

You kidding? I very rarely see Oklahoma hate on this forum. Don't see Oklahoma discussions in general really, but that bolded comment is dumb. You must not notice when people point out Ohio State's recent National Championship record, or their record in bowl games against SEC teams. Oklahoma is hardly being bashed simply because they're Oklahoma here. They've performed poorly in BCS games. They beat a good Florida State team, a 3 loss Washington State team, and this UConn team that should have never been in a BCS game to begin with. The fact that they lost to BSU, Florida, USC, and WVU just prove that they lose when they are matched against a good team instead of 3 or 4 loss teams. It sucks, but it's true. Oklahoma does not perform in BCS games.
