Complex carb =/= whole grain.
Complex carb applies to any starch including refined grains.

And simple carb can be healthy, fruit is a simple carb, but some people think it only applies to sweets and desserts for some reason.

Everyone has one? :p

In all honesty though, I've never tried it so I have no right to say one way or the other about it, I just don't buy into all the overhyped stuff.

How are the simple carbs(sugars) in fruit more healthful than the sugars in sweets other than the fact that they're likely accompanied by better macros/micros?

It tastes good though...nice n thick :)

It's one of my biggest sources of carbs, I eat it all day every day...it's mostly a mental satisfaction that it has no added ingredients or preservatives and is just straight sprouted grain.

Mhh this =) its not to over priced and has some solid ingredients in it! There is some stuff in most bread that jacks my system up. I used to eat a ton of it but as of the last few weeks I found my self hitting the oats more then Ezek!

You should try it out some time. It taste a lot better, thicker then most other breads, very filling and some nice macro's to it!

Gotcha, I've looked for it but none of the grocery stores I shop at carry it. :p

Some people swear Ezekiel Bread will solve your obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and do your taxes while you're at it. But, regardless of the crazies, Ezekiel Bread is awesome stuff. It uses whole sprouted grains, is nutrient dense, a good source of fiber, and delicious to boot. Nothing to lose, lots to gain.

I feel very good after eating as opposed to 99% of the other carbs.

I tolerate ezekiel bread well, sweet potatoe, thin & dark-skinned berries, greens, and that's about it in a "bloat" sense. Barley, too, in terms of normal carbs. PWO, Waxy and Malto have been fine for me.

Oatmeal or at least a significant portion get me real bloated...and most breads, too.

I personally like ezekiel bread, but it is rather costly though at about 5.50 a loaf. I am a bargain shopper lol. It is NEVER on sale either!

Down here it's like 3.5-4 IIRC at least it was a year back, or so.
