im 6,1 201lbs. Feel like im getting kind of fat, I went from 163- 201 since febuary (first time in the gym and bulking, think I did it wrong). I would like to be at a shredded 195lbs one day.

Those scared to put on some fat will never be big. I think you should be eating more and pushing more weight so you look like a freak next summer.

You look 15-16%BF.

You could clean bulk for 3-4 months (spring of next year). See where you are at and then make a decision on whether to cut.

16%ish. Maybe less, but def not out of control.

That big of a jump will make yiubferl fat because you aren't used to carrying the weight.

I would not turn back now. Keep pounding through the end of the year. Getting to 210 and then starting to diet, could land you around 190-195 and under 10% if you plan is on point.

thanks for all the replies.

My original plan was to keep bulking until around March and then cut for the summer but lately I've been feeling like Im putting on too much weight.

This is a sample of my diet (what I ate today)

Breakfast
2 slices whole wheat bread
1 tablespoon of Natural peanut butter
1 Banana
16 ounces whole milk
2 scoops of whey protein (ON whey if it matters)

Lunch
1.5 servings whole grain/wheat pasta
some sauce I made using low fat cream, canned tomatos, olives, green peppers
6 ounces chicken breast
3/4 a cup of shredded mozarella cheese.

Snack
1 Banana

Dinner
8 chicken wings and some BBQ sauce

Now before Bed
10 ounces whole milk
1 scoop whey protein.

What do you guys think?? Am I eating too much fat? I also drink around a gallon of water every day. The only supplements I take are Protein and a Multivitamin.

I disagree with all the repsonses. You're 13-13.5. If your gym has an omron meter to test bf do that before you start ur workout one day. I guarantee you're not more than 14

If you gained nearly 40lbs while only having a resulting 15-17% bf, I wouldn't stop what you are eating nor mess with your routine. I'd keep going...

Am I eating too much fat?.

Fat doesn't make you fat. Calories do

what's the macro breakdown of your diet

not sure about macro breakdown but the diet above comes out to around 3200 cals and about 200grams of protein

As far as routine goes, my main goal is to get strong before I switch to a more conventional bodybuilding split. I ran SS for about 6 months until it stopped working and now Im doing Wendler's 5/3/1 and Im still setting PRs pretty much every week.
