I watched the game where they were blowing out the Hornets and these mother****ers were actually getting all pissy that calls went against their team. One guy must have said "Oh come on, ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH THAT? You've got to be kidding me!" like five times during just two quarters.

These two guys seem even more immature than the Milwaukee Bucks announcers.

Spurs fans do they always do this?

sounds like a typical homer announcer for any team

it can make games unbearable to watch, or listen to on the radio

Lettuce rejoice in the fact that the Knicks and Nets have the 4 greatest announcers in the league.

Marv Albert is a beast but I think Joel Meyers and Stu Lantz are thee dynamic duo of the decade.

Those guys were great to listen to when the Lakers played the Bulls couple weeks ago. Gave Rose and the Bulls a lot of props.

"I'm fair, but firm."

"He's a winner."

"He just gets it done."

"When his number is called he's ready."

"They just gotta come out and compete."

"Just because [Player A] is better than [Player B] doesn't mean he can't come out and outplay him."

"...and it's not even close."

"Momma, there goes that man."

"He's a knockdown shooter."

"Excuse me, I have a meeting with the rim!"

"You're better than that!"

"GOTCHA!"

"(insert any player), pound for pound, is the best player in the game."

"Don't take your frustration out on the refs, take it out on the rim!"

"Come get in my poster!"

"NOT ON MY WATCH!"

"That's a grown man move right there."

"I'm a truth teller."

"The best player has to set the tone for this team."

"When his number is called he's ready."

"...if you come out and compete anything can happen."

"He's really forcing the issue."

"Time and time again."

"My goodness!"

"That's the Beyonce move. To the left to the left."

You know what I'm talking about though.

I was driving around on Sunday and tuned into the Raiders game on AM radio... the announcers were ridiculous. There was a penalty on the Chargers and one announcer goes "That was a good call... that was a GREAT call, great call, very good for the Raiders, this is great" and when the other announcer tried to continue doing his job the first guy chimes in again with "VERY GOOD call, hahahahahah", literally laughing. C'mon, man, say something meaningful, you're getting paid for it.

If the game was on FSN the announcers are Sean Elliott and Bill Land. Can't say anything bad about Sean because I know him personally (serious)

It's Sean Elliot, he bitches like schoolgirl. It's one thing to be a homer announcer, but he's just plain obnoxious.. makes my hate for the spurs even stronger

It's so predictable and obvious when hes going to say and I anticipate it coming but I still lol everytime I hear it.

"That's the Beyonce move. To the left to the left."
I almost cried the first time I heard this.

The Hornets announcers are homers but in a funny way bc they are such morons. They come up with the cheesiest sayings. Paul passed to Peja for a corner three, he sank it, the other team called a timeout. Announcers "Paul calls his "peja"" but he said it like pager.

Against the rockets this year: Paul knocks down a 10 foot baseline jumper with like 2 minutes left. "Chris Paul. The Closer" nothing for like 10 seconds after that.

something about following them on twitter
Announcer 1: "we have 500 followers on twitter. Don't you want to be lucky Mr. 500 or MRs. 500.
Announcer 2: "Or Misssssss 500"(srs he dragged the s out for a while)
Announcer 1: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD ONE GIL HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Peja had a series of a 2 threes, a layup, and another three in about a 4 minute burst. "HE'S GOT PEJA POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" they bring the lulz even in blowouts.

To answer your question, if I'm not mistaken, it's Sean Elliot and a guy named Bill. I vaguely remember his last name being Simmons -- Bill Simmons.

Bill Simmons isn't a Spurs announcer... he's a Boston homer and a columnist/author and far more famous than any Spurs announcer. The answer as already given above

If the game was on FSN the announcers are Sean Elliott and Bill Land.

ive thought spurs had the worst announcing team for years. the bias is sickening, and their voices are annoying.... and NO not every teams announcers are that bad. some, like walt frazier for knicks pretty much never show any bias toward the home team. gives respect to other teams when they make good plays, keep it real when the refs make a good call whether it hurts the knicks or not.
