I dont follow michigan fb so i wouldnt know,

but it seems like his name has totally fallen out of the news and on the discussion board

considering the videogame #s he was putting up in the start of the year, id figure hed have a larger sportsmisc, ESPN following

so whats the news on him?

BTW, Poll

Cam newton or Denard

he is more explosive than cam, but built like a stick. couldn't take a beating and didn't finish a lot of games. thus, his numbers fell off.

Then the real competition started and he was exposed. Still very exciting to watch.

The news on him is he had a pretty good season, but wasn't able to keep up his crazy stats from early in the season. The better Big Ten defenses showed that he is still a work in progress. Michigan's awful defense caused them to lose games that they could have, and maybe should have won, which caused Denard/Michigan to get less of the spotlight. If Rich Rod comes back next year, Denard will make improvements, just like he did after his freshman year, and he'll put up damn good numbers again.

Cam Newton is the better dual threat guy. Denard is a better runner in my opinion, but Newton is a better passer. Newton has better size too. I think most people would take Cam over Denard.

His numbers were still pretty sick, just that michigans defense makes people sick. After the first quarter in the bowl he'll have over 4000 yards.

He never really went away. He got banged up on occasion and had some turnovers, but he showed up for almost every game. Our defense was what disappeared for 90% of the season, and our WR's (Roundtree!!) dropped about as many passes as he caught.

RichRod tried to run him into the ground because that was the only thing he had to show for.

Their offense should be called "Run Denard Run!" because thats what he did nearly every play. He is going to be a NFL RB, and if RR gets fired he should be moved there permanently. How many times did he throw while in the pocket? It seemed like every pass he would be throwing on the run.

This.

Denard is a beast. Its like watching Reggie Bush at the QB position. When you hit him you have to him hard so he wont come back on the field.

I wonder if he can catch the football.
