Maybe in a few years once they get some MLE players.... if the MLE even exists in the new CBA.

you wonder about that but if you believe what you hear about the owners wanting to lower the cap and even the mle the new cba might hurt the heat .

If they implement a hard cap, then I agree with you. It'll hurt some of these teams like the Heat/Lakers.

Phil Jackson is in LA and Kobe was Jordan's heir to the throne (and now it's his). Impossible to say what will happen after Phil and Kobe call it quits, but until then we can only sit back and enjoy their greatness.

The Heat have won 1 championship...... EVER. As far as I'm concerned, they are just as relevant as the knicks.

I just remember sweeping the lakers one year when you had younger shaq and younger kobe. Lolz.

I remember a few years after that, the lakers swept them in the conference finals. They also swept the Kings and Blazers that year. Their only loss was game 1 of the finals against the Sixerz.

Yeah 1 in 21 seasons, and the Heat are winning the next 6, while the Knicks have a whopping 2 in how many years? Like 100? lolz welcome to another decade of irrelevance.

stars? you mean like bynum averaging 9 and 6 and Odom shooting 38% from field and Artest shooting 27% from 3? Gasol was a looser all his NBA career. Kinda like Zach Randolph or Antwan Jamison. Lol at people acting like Gasol is some kind of Pippen. He's a bit better than Rodman. Pau has no defense at all and gets pushed around by tougher players.

that's what I though, sit down and stfu.

stars? you mean like bynum averaging 9 and 6 and Odom shooting 38% from field and Artest shooting 27% from 3? They're shooting like sh11t now but these guys are stars. They are not MVP calibur but they're easily in the better half of NBA players and they are better then what 90% of teams have to work with. If you are trying to say they are just average players then you just dont watch or get basketball.
Gasol was a looser all his NBA career. haha right. Gasol that led the grizzles to the playoffs and played on the all star team? Gasol is one of the best big men of this generation. End of story. Quit trying to act like he's a bum to better suck Kobes cock. Dwight Howard is the only big man in the league that is better then Gasol now and even that is arguable at times.
Kinda like Zach Randolph or Antwan Jamison. Lol at people acting like Gasol is some kind of Pippen. He's a bit better than Rodman. Pau has no defense at all and gets pushed around by tougher players.

that's what I though, sit down and stfu. Yeah you don't watch Bastketball. Refresh us as to what happened when Kobe didn't have those guys circa 2005-2007? Guys like Jordan, Duncan and Shaq in their prime could have led a team of High School basketball players to at least an 8 seed. Lol @ that year the Lakers didnt even make the playoffs.

Scorpion613

The same team that was gonna break the 72-10 right? Miami can't even beat the celtics, and lebron got owned by rudy gay last night. lmao.

He was there... and even if fish's 0.4 shot didn't count, the series would have been 3-2, and as you remember, the lakers won game 6, so you can argue that it would have went to a game 7.

You mean when Kobe No longer has a Shaq or Gasol.

Kobe not surrounded by a cast of other stars = fail

What's your point? Duncan has almost always had Ginobli and Parker. Didn't Parker win the last finals MVP, the last time they won?

You don't exactly have a great argument.... gasol never won a playoff game as a grizzlie. He got swept 3 times and never averaged even 8 RPG. He's one of the best big men of the generation, but he couldn't lead a team anywhere by himself. He needs Kobe just as much as Kobe needs him.

Yeah you don't watch Bastketball. Refresh us as to what happened when Kobe didn't have those guys circa 2005-2007? Remember the phoenix series? During those years, they were an 8th seed and 7th seed I believe. This was with a team that had Smush Parker, Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown starting. Please refresh my memory on where those guys are now and how many minutes they play. FYI, in 2005, the lakers didn't even have a consistent coach. Rudy T bailed on them mid way in the season because of an injury or sickness.
