I noticed after a sunday roast and you get so much meat off a roast chicken that its proberly cheaper too use that meat than buy chicken breasts...

but im not sure on this..

can you buy a fresh chicken, roast it, cut the meat off then freeze the meat and just defrost and eat it when needed? or am i askig for food poisoning..

and also, dunoo if anyone knows this buy after cooking meat, how long will it last for in the fridge?

yes you can freeze it after cooking and defrost as needed.

Depends on how fresh the meat it, should have a best before date, if not go by smell.

Yeah that's fine. Main thing you don't want to do is thaw raw meat, then refreeze it. If you thaw it, cook it, then refreeze if needed. Longest I leave cooked meat in the fridge is 3-4 days.
