Hey guys,

I haven't taken a good quality dookie in a couple of days. I feel some dookie weight in my lower stomach just sitting there.

In hindsight I realize that all of my meals include quite a bit of protein, between 20-60 grams of protein. They have little to no carbs and minimal fat. I know the whole hi protein deal is suppose to help on my cut but I shouldn't be having irregular bowel movement.

What am I missing from my diet? What do you guys do?Am I eating too much protein? I am about 175 and consume between 180-200 grams of protein.

I eat 1-2 salads per day and drink 1.5 gallons of water per day

It shakes things up and gets them moving.

A banana every morning helps too.

... NOT all general guidelines work generally for people. If I ate the amount of protein this site suggests I would broke and never lose weight.

The amount of protein would literally put me 1000 thousands over what I need to lose.

Banana sounds about right. I Do remember when I use to run in the morning prior to cutting running out of my regimen, I would always have to take a bathroom break 5 minutes before my run was over. It used to piss me off, but I hope it works now.

Exactly. I might have to wait until my cheat meal to down some high cal prune juice. So greens won't give me instant gratification than?

Take a fiber supplement and prune juice for a week and see if it goes Liquid Plumber on your pipes.

This thread is funniest thing I read all day.

Eat some really spicy food. That'll definitely cause a movement.

2 cups of coffee. easy on the sweetner and fat free half and half... does it for me EVERY day. also, eat an apple or banana in your first and second meal of the day. before you know it, you will have some good soft serve ready for everyone's pleasure (and I say everyone, I mean you).

Ditto on the running - that's why I wear trousers with legs that are elasticated at the bottom.

I'm a regular coffee drinker, and coffee still keeps me regular :)

That would've been my suggestion. Now if I smell coffee I get the urge . . .

I'm actually drinking coffee right now -

I drink coffee every morning and that basically gets me going. I also take in nearly 50g of fiber per day on a low carb diet. I also think you will want to up your fats as well if you are working on low carb. Fats & water will work as a lubricant to help you flush out regularly.

preemptive move, or reactional one?

Tried some fiber and it helped. I am def gonna have to up the fats a little though because the only real fat I get is from my daily dose of PB and olive oil.

Same for the carbs. I'm starting to plateau anyways so change should be good.
