View Full Version : My bulk macros looking good?

Im 153 pounds, 5'11. I need go on on a bulk, and it will be my first time. Should I do a bulk or a lean bulk? I played around with numbers and dont know what is the best as I do not want to screw up my first bulk and gain a bunch of fat.

50 g fat
380 g carbs
228 g protein

all this equals to 2900 calories for my daily intake.

Ill be hitting the weights 4 times a week. friday, saturday, and sunday off.

Cardio wise, I would normally do some HIIT 20 minutes at the end of my workout and sometimes on the weekend, should I continue this or stop?

more fat, less carbs
fat should be .4-.5g/lb --->60-75+grams for you

OK. What should be my calorie limit? I dont want to pig out 3500 calories a day, unless I should be doing that

add 10% to waht you are eating now
weigh in weekly
keep increasing by 10% until you are gaining

You already got the advice you need from D4. Now you just have to do it.

Cardio is entirely up to you. If gaining more fat than you like, then can do cardio and/or adjust calories accordingly.
