Why would you want to maintain 7% bodyfat? You don't want to bulk up or anything?

I'm 5'9 as well. If you went wild one night just get on the exercise bike a couple times a week. It's that simple. Also, if you know you're going out to socialize just eat light during the day and save most, if not all, of your calories for 'happy hour'.

Do different rules apply at single digits than any other BF%? By definition to maintain BF, wouldn't you need to eat at maintenance? Granted, your maintenance is lower, but it's the exact same principle right?

im thinking different rules apply once you get below 7. i dont think its as simple as calories in, calories out. it gets a little more tricky to lose more fat because the body starts fighting back HARD
