Based on what? It is not a life time achievement award. Smith is catching from Matt Moore who has never played an entire season and Ocho will be sharing the ball a lot.

These also. Not saying he isn't a potential stud (and he's already a quality receiver right now), but he is NOT the #4 receiver in the league.

lulz @ the phaggot Roddy White haters. Go worship your yearly bandwagon team.

3700+ receiving yards over last 3 seasons isn't a fluke. Dude was about to lose his staring job and finally showed his potential.

wat?

2nd most yards last season after starting out with 5 receptions in 4 games? and now facing the single most wide receiver friendly schedule in 2010? hand over the crack pipe.

He may not be the 4th most skilled but he can and will most likely put up #4 results.

and wtf is Fitz doing at #2 with Leinart as QB? his stats are not likely to go up

Smith already came out saying he didn't want to be the go to guy anymore, and Boldin will show out in Balitimore, easily.

he said that because he was being double/triple covered every game because Carolina had no one to take pressure off him. you'd be frustrated too with Jake Delhomme as your quarterback.

he'll have a 1,000+ yard season. not calling pro bowl or anything, but he'll put up good numbers.

It's not the schedule, it's the fact that they have no one besides Mason. Rice caught a ****load last season, Boldin will take some pressure off. Heap is/was an awesome TE, but he's getting up there in age. There really aren't any "shut down" corners in the league anymore brah. Players are too good now to keep help down.

Thats why hes not #1

Fitz makes shiity QBs great. as long as Matt throws to larry, itll be all good, Larry WILL come down with that ball 100% of the time.

Boldin needs be high on that list.

Flacco, the RB, and Boldin will be the 3 men on the offense who ever touch that ball during a ravens game

This and no Boldin, Austin at #4 but most of all......

No Wes Welker? REALLY??? He's already healthy and there's still a month left until the season starts. Even if he did miss a game or two, he only played in 14 games last year and still had the 2nd most receptions in league HISTORY and had over 1,300 yards which was second in all the league.

Top 5 reciever hands down. GTFO op.

marshall should be higher BECAUSE he plays for the dolphins. henne is gonna be a really good QB this year, he already did damn good without any notable WR last year and defenses already have enough to deal with cuz of the fins running game,4th in the league last year.

not to stick up for a bad list but WR is a flavor of the week thing. Any body who plays fantasy football knows that. Pretty hard to rank the recievers 1 - 15 and say this is how it is everyday

Yeah all fine and dandy, but let's be reality...he goes from being a number 3 who's performing better than the other 2 guys (Roy/Crayton) to now being targeted as a no 1 WR.

Show some respect...I mean Wayne, Fitz, Calvin, Moss Those guys are putting up similar numbers with defenses already gunning for them EVERY game.

We'll have to see how well Miles can do when he's not got the "surprise" factor. Let's not forget that nearly 20% of his yards came in one game the "breakout" against KC.

He's got potential, but it's a different ball game when the game plans coming out of the gate are to stop you specifically.

I'm bored sooo...

1 Randy Moss- Contract year. I despise everything patriots but if Brady is half the QB he can be i expect moss to light the world on fire one more time
2- Andre Johnson
3 Calvin Johnson
4 Larry Fitzgerald
5 Reggie Wayne
6 Miles Austin
7 Ochostinko
8 Roddy White
9 Steve Smith
10 Desean Jackson
11 Anquan Boldin
12 Vincent Jackson
13 Mike Sims walker
14 Greg Jennings
15 Terrell Owens- still had 15.2 YPC in buffalo. Not as bad as people think he is right now.

If so, Calvin Johnson is too low, Jennings too high, absence of Welker is laughable, Marshall is too high in unproven system, Steve Smith is hilarious, with Matt Moore throwing, and Boldin should be above Sims-Walker, Rice shouldnt be on the list without Favre, Smith from NYG should be on there ~14

Steve Smith in 3 and a half games with Moore: 19 receptions, 3 touchdowns, 378 yards.

he missed a game and a half(would have had over 1k yards again had he not been injured,) and dealt with the 2nd worst starting quarterback in the league for over half the season. then also factor in the fact he had no one to take ANY pressure off him(Moose is somewhat good, but he's slow as hell and was only starting because Dwayne Jarrett was the only other option.)

Steve Smith is top 5. Can't believe this list is serious or half the people in here. Carolina's offense actually looks REALLY good. With 2 top rbs in the backfield, and a strong OL, Smith is going to see a lot of touches. They just drafted 2 speedy wrs, so expect defenses to be very confused. Smith will have a career year.
