View Full Version : Eating on Rest days

Ok so on days when I work out I eat really well because I know I'm going to the gym and I know I'll have more energy, feel better at the gym etc.. However on days I don't work out, I lose that motivation and end up eating junk food. I work out 3 days a week. I'm 200 pounds fairly lean and cutting to 190-195 at a low bodyfat percentage. So I'm hoping to get some advice on how to keep with it on rest days and maybe some suggestions on what I could eat based on my Active day diet.

Here's my diet on workout days

9:30 am
1 cup water blended with 1 scoop Whey, Frozen mixed berries, and a bit of Olive Oil

11:30
3 Eggs Scrambled with Onions and Mushrooms
1 Banana
Raisins
Green Tea

2:00
Tilapia Filet
Spinach
Almonds
1 Orange

3:15 - 4:45 Gym

5:30
1 Scoop Whey
1 Scoop Waxy Maize Starch

7:00
Chicken Breast
Broccoli and Cauliflower

9:00
Salmon or Tilapia
Broccoli and Cauliflower

11:00
1 Scoop Casein Blended with Yogurt

Word of advice on the rest days...realize that THIS is when you grow/repair the most. Diet should be as strict or stricter than training days to optimize results.
