Really liking the moves Hoyer is making, adding good run support for our pitchers without giving up too much. Lineup's looking real good especially when Eck comes back from the DL

LET'S GO PADRES!!

no joke...the guy we (the Indians) got has an era over 4..in AA...that's pathetic.... I don't even see that guy going to AAA in the Indians organization....and we have to pay for him and westbrook!

er, giving up ludwick for a 4th spot starter is a huge loss to us.

you must not know much about baseball if you think that was a loss for you. you got a number 3 starter for an outfielder that was blocking Jon Jay....Indians got skrewed, they should have asked for Jay or Rasmus or not made the move.

very serious...becuase it is true...got Kerry Wood Jr (the K.W. of today) for a proven number 3....Cards made out big time on this one.

the guy has a career record under .500, a career era over 4.30 and strikes out 4.5 batters every nine innings yet you are talking like he is a cy young candidate.
he definately isnt going to be the #3 starter on the cardinals staff

uhh, idk where you saw those stats...

"Kluber, 24, has spent the entire 2010 season at Double-A San Antonio, where he was 6-6 with a 3.45 ERA. He has struck out 136 and walked 40 in 122 2/3 innings in 22 games, including 21 starts. He leads the Texas League in strikeouts." mlb.com

guy strikes out 1+ per inning and was a 4th round draft pick in 07. and jake has struggled forever as much as ive always liked him. but he was making a lot of money and needed to be shipped out.

el oh el. number 3 starter to an organization of the indians caliber...certainly. we have wainwright, carp, and garcia, which are arguably the best 3 in baseball this year. any contending organization would have this guy at the back end of their rotation.

jon jay looks good now, but that is not a very good sample size to justify giving up a guy that is a vertiable HR hitter with average, has a career .939 OPS with RISP, and above average defense. the guy is a workhorse too.

from a non-biased standpoint, i agree. Westbrook is the definition of "average" starter. giving up a proven hitter for a 4th or 5th starter is a bad move.

westbrook is not a 3 starter on a good team sorry.

feel free to show me ONE team in the NL that is either first or 2nd in its division that he would be a 3rd starter on.
