View Full Version : Empty Seats At Wrigley

I noticed that there have been quite a few empty seats during the past two Cubs games. Even the seats across the street on the buildings have been not nearly as full as past years. Are the Cubs fans starting to finally grow weary of the losing or is this just a sign of the general malaise that the majority of fans are feeling about Baseball and its lack of parity? Normally on a 90 degree day there would be standing room only everywhere around Wrigley, however this has not been the case recently.

cubs have one of the biggest pay rolls in the league lol. dont see how they can complain about lack of parity.

Judging by the amount of people that are in their stands, I don't think anyone has seen a Marlins game.

depends what a good seat is to you... you can sit int he bleachers for 50 and if you get there early enuff you can be right against the wall

theres no tickets cheaper than 45... id say tho GOOD seat prolly around 105.. thats what i paid for 6th row from the dugout 3rd baseline and those were some pretty good seats.

wow lol. by 'good' I mean you can see the field without binoculars.(ie no upper upper deck etc)

I got a great seat at Nats park for $40, in the outfield right in homerun territory. Couldn't imagine paying over $100 lol.

I wasn't talking literally, just saying I don't like sitting very high up lol.

and I've never been to Wrigley, was just curious to see how much tickets for big market teams are.

LMFAO

When you go to Wrigley you're supposed to go to a party and hope a baseball game breaks out... and now that can't even happen?

Come to the South-Side and watch a team that wants to win. Hate on the area all you want, but if you want real baseball in Chi-town, then you know where to go.

losing + economy + 2 damn hot = the seats you seen this series.

the losing had gotten real old though. cubs have no chance and still sell 94% and prob still get stadium 85% full. plus their tv money. cubs should be so much better. like yankees and red sox.

Rofl you are a joke dude. You hate the cubs more than you like your own teams. Detroit brah is a fan of the patriots and white sox, hahah you are the definition of a bandwagoner. Get off the cubs nuts and start worrying about what teams you're gonna like next.

Cubs games are far too expensive. I would much rather go to a Sox game. The Cell is much easier to get to for me (right off the interstate) and have Much better parking. I watch both Chicago teams, however am a fan of the Pirates.
