I posted the AFC thread the other day.

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=126016903

Here's how nfl.com ranks the NFC. More details of each team in link.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d819234a7/article/nfc-road-might-once-again-run-through-new-orleans

Here's the grading system for examining where each team stands heading into training camp:

Blue-chip team: Super Bowl contender
Red-chip team: Playoff contender
Green-chip team: Middle-of-the-pack team
Orange-chip team: Improving but still not near the playoffs
Brown-chip team: No chance to win and the year will be a long one

Blue-chip teams
Green Bay Packers
New Orleans Saints

Red-chip teams
Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Cowboys
Minnesota Vikings
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
San Francisco 49ers
Washington Redskins

Green-chip teams
Arizona Cardinals
Carolina Panthers
Chicago Bears
Seattle Seahawks

Orange-chip teams
Detroit Lions
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brown-chip team
St. Louis Rams

NOT PAYING ATTENTION, ARE YOU?

They've made quality moves. Don't underestimate Shanahan and Allen.

This. Cowboys have arguably the most talented team in the NFL.

Vikings are no doubt Blue Chip as well(if Favre returns, which he will).

Redskins should not be playoff contenders. There line will not improve that much, they have really weak receiving corps, RB's will be solid but all are past their prime and not dangerous anymore, transitioning to 3-4 takes a year or 2 to adjust.

Seahawks should be in Orange land.

If 49ers are in the Red zone, the Cardinals should be also.. both will be fighting it out for crown of the worst division in football.

LoL at the size of the Red Chip section.. the entire NFC East is in there.. way to go out on a limb and pick who will make the playoffs from that division.

I think Minnesota is right where they belong. They have one of the toughest schedules this season

The team is only getting older as well especially on the defensive side. Winfield will not be the same player he was before he ****ed up his foot for half the season. Pat Williams's play declined significantly last year and will only continue to get worse. As players get older, injuries start racking up. Hutchinson played hurt almost the entire season.

One positive is that the offense will have one more season of playing with Favre under their belts.

Yeah, I don't know if Shannahan can turn things around this quickly. But maybe they'll be more competitive and surprise some teams.

Found KC in the comments:

The 49ers are not a playoff contender. Not untill Alex Smith can prove him self. Thats y the Seahawks will go to the Super Bowl

This. If they had decent coaching they could get somewhere. Lol at Wade Philips, I love when they show is face. Looks like he's stumped trying to solve a math problem.

List sucks.

Cowboys have, EASILY, the best offense in the league. U mad we gonna break all the offensive records of the 07 Patriots?

no they don't lol. Saints are still the best, and if(when) Favre comes back the Vikings will be better than Dallas too. There are lots of teams with comparable or better offenses than them...

Dallas needs new coaching or they will continue to be mediocre.

Doug Free and Alex Barron are your starting bookends. Lmao @ cowboy fans who think all you need is a pile of skill players and a chokeartist qb for a good offense.

Jared Allen is gonna have a field day again come playoff time...
