Chris Bosh f****g sucks. The Lakers, the Thunder, the Nuggets, are much better then them. The Magic are still better then them. The Celtics are still better then them. The Bulls are better then them. even with Jazz w/out Boozer are still better.

the only player the Heat have really added is Bosh. They have 2 players on the roster besides him and Wade, it is way too early to tell how good they'll be lol

They won 47 games with Dwayne Wade and a bunch of nobodies. Adding Bosh means they will be a top 3 seed.

This.

Plus they still have somewhere around $15 million in cap room to sign some more players. Mike Miller, Ray Allen, and others are still available.

X2.

They still need role players and need a major help in the front-court. Hopefully Spoelstra isn't planning on playing Bosh at the 5 b/c at so = Goodnight sweet RuPaul.

Agreed. If Lebron comes back to Cleveland I still think Cleveland is the best east team.

Magics being right behind.

They need Lebron in order to shift the power in the East. Wade+Bosh won't get the job done. They do still have some room under the cap though - so let's see who they end up with.

They still have enough cap room to plug the holes they have at center and small forward. If LeBron signs, they might have a difficult time fielding a 12-man roster that isn't 50% D-Leaguers.

this

just look at the squad wade had last year and he took the team to a 47-win record. and whether bosh is overrated or not (which i think he STRONGLY is), it should still be enough to propel them to a higher seed. he's overrated but it's not like he's terrible especially compared to last year.

i mean, wade PROVED he could take an overrated superstar to a championship. shaq was a lazy fat **** then and i wouldn't come close to comparing his numbers to his prime. so i'm sure he could do decent with bosh.

who the hell are they going to have at center? A washed up jermaine o'neal? Call alanzo mourning out of retirement? That is the most important piece of the puzzle imo...they need a big, physical, defensive/rebounding minded center, and those don't grow on trees or sign minimum deals in free agency.

If bynum is healthy I still don't see them beating the lakers. Pau/Drew is one of the best front courts ever...

This isn't the 90's, the number of good centers in the NBA is pathetic. All you need is a high effort guy with decent size that's willing to do the dirty work, defend and rebound. They can platoon Dex Pittman and Joel Anthony at C with Bosh playing spot minutes there depending on match-ups and be fine depending on how they fill the rest of their roster.

That's true, and bosh/bron/wade are 2 of the top 3 players in the NBA and all in their primes. They are so much better than KG/Allen/pierce.

Don't think so.

Let's say you add Brendan Haywood and Mike Miller with your remaining cap room, which is probably pushing it since you only have about $12 M left.

C- Brendan Haywood < Andrew Bynum
PF- Chris Bosh < Pau Gasol
SF- Mike Miller < Ron Artest
SG- Dwyane Wade < Kobe Bryant
PG- Mario Chalmers < Derek Fisher

6- Michael Beasley < Lamar Odom
7- ? < Steve Blake

The heat won't get past the Magic. Even better chances if VC gets traded away.

Bosh plays PF, he'll never play 5 spot :)

But I will agree LA will the "better" team because of their frontcourt, a good center is so crucial to any team
