Auto sports. Everytime Im speeding down the highway, I am playing a sport.

SwagMorris
06-04-2010, 09:47 AM
Golf. Boring and not even that fun to play. Happy Gilmore was a great movie though. Baseball and soccer are at least fun to play.

MA5Bergey
06-04-2010, 09:49 AM
Auto sports.

Because they are not sports.

Then basketball.

Golf and soccer are both great to play, meh to watch.

Baseball and football are just plain great.

Watching? Live or tv? Playing?

El Gilbro
06-04-2010, 09:51 AM
Baseball or basketball.

I don't really consider golf or auto racing as sports. Even if I did, I'd probably still like baseball and basketball less.

Antonio519
06-04-2010, 09:54 AM
Golf...i dunno...only one I've never watched

for me it's...

football>basketball>hockey>baseball>AutoSports (no nascar)>boxing(could be switched with autosports)>soccer>golf

ChrisM0509
06-04-2010, 09:57 AM
Hockey, then auto sports.

BrettT07
06-04-2010, 01:38 PM
Nascar is simply awful. Definitely the bottom of the list.

I don't care at all to watch golf, hockey, boxing or soccer either.

Baseball is boring as hell, but I still have a favorite player of all time in the sport (Greg Maddux.. I grew up watching him since I was really young, like 5 or 6). No desire to watch a game again though.

Basketball is fun to play, but I don't care to watch it.

I love me some football... College Football to be exact. NFL is a distant second.

Revolver45
06-04-2010, 01:48 PM
Basketball and it's not even close. Even though it's not on the list, MMA is probably second.

TheDude1987
06-04-2010, 01:49 PM
Soccer. I can't watch it for more than a few minutes without getting bored. But what sets it apart from auto sports and golf is all of the elitists telling me I should like it because it's popular in other countries. **** that and **** you.

Soccer and auto sports.

Never used to like Soccer until Seattle got a team. It's actually a great time to go to a game. The best part is no TV timeouts compared to football. Golf has to be the worst!

The Shoeless Wonder

basketball. every time I try watching it, all they do it run and dunk. where's the strategy in that?

Reisinger850
06-04-2010, 02:20 PM
People who say soccer (it is called football) definately have to be Americans.

I hate American football, I can't even see where the ball is...Furthermore they are like playing for a few seconds and havin timeouts for 5 minutes. I don't like this at all...

ChiefRocka
06-04-2010, 02:51 PM
Since I don't consider Auto Racing or Golf to be sports I will go ahead and say hockey. If a hockey game ever stayed on my tv for longer than 5 seconds its because the remote was taking too long to click off.

Not quite that extreme. Probably around ~20-30 seconds between each play. One thing I like about football is the specificity of each position. Everyone is suited for their purpose and they must play with high intensity each play. And there is more skill involved than meets the eye.

Having the plays separated allows for a lot of micromanaging with tactics and whatnot.

baseball i'd rather watch paint dry

golf is boring as fcuk to watch but fun to play

don't consider autosports a sport

soccer - world cup is fun to watch and a fun sport to play but league soccer ie. MLS is boring maybe if I watched the euro teams like Barcelona , Real Madrid etc. play it'd be more exciting

I don't really get why anyone finds baseball entertaining/impressive.

Can you drive a ball 300 yards? Can you pitch it within a few yards of the pin from 100yds? Do you have the grace/finesse to judge the perfect speed of your putt? Yes? Play golf!

Can you take a punch? Can you pack a punch? Do you have high discipline/stamina? Yes? Be a boxer!

Can you take 6g+ for 8sec+? Do you have lightning fast reactions? Are you calm under pressure? Yes? Be a racing driver!

Can you catch? Yes? Play baseball!

wait, wut?

Auto sports

I would never call a racer an "athlete". Yes I'm sure it takes a lot of mental strength and decision making skills etc but come on, they sit the entire time...

MonkeyNews, you forgot this:

Can you hit a small, round object coming at you at 90 mph?

Can you hit a small, round object, coming at you at 85 mph that moves 17 inches from right to left?

Can you hit a small, round object, coming at you at 85 mph that drops from waist high to ankle high?

TheDude1987

"Catching" is a very small part of baseball. Don't you UK guys watch Cricket? It's the same idea. If you can hit a tiny ball traveling 90+ MPH, or throw a ball 90+ MPH (accurately), then play baseball.

Soccer.

Cross country with a ball tbh :/

Soccer because of all the soccer phags on the misc.

But in reality I find NASCAR/baseball the most boring.

I thoguht it would be soccer but during some tournament (the World Cup maybe???) a few years ago, I watch some of the championship games and thought they were interesting.

If the Bs are in the playoffs I will kinda watch.

My heirarchy is:
Baseball
(small gap)
Football
(sizeable gap)
Basketball
(huge gap)
Hockey

I'm a baseball/football guy.

Auto sports - for me it's not even close.

Driving is not a sport.

My favorites:

1.) Football
2.) Basketball
3.) Baseball

These are all really close, and then doesn't really matter from there. Like I said I'll watch anything but auto sports really.

BrawnySwoleman

I love basketball and football, and like baseball. Golf and auto racing have to be my least favorite sports by a mile, accompanied by the other non-sports ESPN shows (bowling, anyone?) I never uncerstood how someone could watch hours of golf or car racing. Tennis, hockey, and soccer are alright, I just rarely watch them.
