I mean AP was the sole 100% reason why Favre didnt win the SB this year. Favre came out in god mode and AP kept fycking up real bad....real bad....It was like special education between him and the coaches by half-time....

So, with Chester Taylor gone, is AP gonna crumble and dissapear this year or is he going to rebound, become less fumble prone and focus more on any positive yards rather than 90 yard touchdowns?

I believe that that Vikings team is built to win 2 super bowls, it all falls on AP's shoulders

Even with all his fumbles, hes still probably the #2 RB in the league

and nothing but Favres Chokeness is whats holding the Vikings back. any GB fan could tell you that

Brett's stupid throw is the reason they didn't go lose the Super Bowl just as much as AD'
s fumbles.

Both of their fault.

The mother****er can run and take hits but he needs to hold the damn ball.

He better be working his ass off this off season.

I mean, naw he's fine, if anything his ball control is TOO good.

Well, here's a GB fan. So, ONLY Favre's late interception played a role in the loss? Are you stupid? IIRC, the Vikings turned the ball over 5 goddamn times, and Favre and the defense kept them in the game.

He's circa 2003 Tiki Barber to me. Big yards, but ultimately a liability with the ball in his hands. The problem is, they simply cannot make Favre throw as often as they did last season. There's plenty of quality free agent veteran RB's out there - they could easily fill the gap.

No he's not. I can think of several backs I'd want on my team over his fumbling ass.

Anyways- it wasn't his fault. The entire team choked. Favre's int.. AP, Harvin, and didn't even Berrian fumble throughout the game?

they need Tiki Barber to school him on not fumbling

and AD isn't the 2nd best RB.

1/2. SJax/CJ
3/4. DeAngelo/AD

The problem with AP nowadays is that EVERYONE goes after the football when he has it. Way worse then any other back because he's developed the rep as a fumbler.

Also, Favre had such a great season because people were still stacking the box to protect against the run. AP's contribution to the team is a lot more then just his yards/td's.

Lol before last year he was on his way to be the G.O.A.T. RB according to many and now he is almost joke status??? lol wut. Dude is for real. The thing with him is he is the Farve or running backs. Just like Farve is known to throw many picks he has even more crazy plays no one else could make. AP will do the same but fumble instead of INT. Any team in the NFL would be lucky to have AP.

Take away his fumbling problem and he is no doubt the best running back in the game. He is only number 2 because of this problem.

AP did not lose that game.

Harvin fumbled the ball to the Saints in their territory leading to an easy TD and Berrian also lost one while the Vikings were in the red zone. People seem to forget that AP dominated that game with 3 TDs.

And this team has this year left to make the Super Bowl. Defense is aging along with the O-line. Hutchinson played hurt all season and McKinnie was embarrassed on more than one occasion.

1. AP is such a huge threat that teams now have to have 8 men in the box
2. 8 men in the box opens up the passing game big time
3. passing game is so effective that running become less used
4. AP has a fumbling problem
5. Fumbling problem=less carries (had 49 less carries than 2008, but double the amount of receptions)
6. Steven Jackson only had 33 more yards than AP with 10 more carries in a WAY easier division
7. AP is an athletic freak
8. When AP is in the zone he is unstoppable
9. If he ever fixes this problem, he has all what it takes to be one of the greatest rbs ever.

SJax faced 9 even 10 in the box because he was the only threat on the rams.

SJax is even more of an athletic freak than AP. Just as fast, bigger, and stronger.

SJax on the Vikings = SB win. Doesn't fumble, can actually catch the ball.

Strong biased opinion. First off please show me a team playing only one or two corner backs without at least 1 safety. I'm not talking about when they are in package when they have all tight-ends and only one receiver out either....

How is that biased? A lot of people would agree here.

AD only went over 100yds 3 times last season. Against Cleveland, Baltimore, and Detroit

SJax. Washington, GNB, Indy, New Orleans, Arizona, Detroit, and Chicago.

SJax still gets his yds even when the defense focuses solely on him. You can't say the same of AD. When defenses want to shut him down he gets shut down.

When SJax has a somewhat decent team to take pressure he goes off for 1500yds rushing and 800yds receiving.

SJ Knows the teams he will be playing will stack the box and he gets his yards anyway. AD is like the roy williams of offense...not afraid to truck people but lacks crucial component for his position...holding onto the ball

SJ has like 5 straight 1000 yard seasons on the worst team in the league. AD is still a top back but last year showed that you can take him out of a game pretty easily.

what does that matter? if anything the 2back system limits his carries and reduces his potential stats. DWill still had 1100+ yards with a 5.2 ypc over only 216 carries. take a look at Deangelos 2008 stats, he outplayed every running back in the league(yet somehow missed the probowl lololol)

DeAngelo Williams 273 Carries, 1,515 Yards, 5.5YPC, 18TD's, 0 fumbles.

How great of a player can you really be if you can make it to the playoffs by playing well in the regular season, only to choke it up when it counts?

2 backs system also allows his chances of getting injured to decrease and his body isnt as banged up as the other 1 back system RB's. So he should be racking up high numbers.

I shouldnt even have to explain whats wrong with the probowl so dont use that to judge players.
