First "official" carb refeed tomorrow. What should I eat. Trying to keep cals below 1600 and get at least 300g of carbs and 200g of protein.

Please give me any advice.

Well that's going to be hard since 300g of carbs and 200g of protein alone is 2000calories (that's if you don't have ANY fat). Go for good carb sources such as sweet potatoes, oats, bagels, brown rice, cereal, etc.

Well that's going to be hard since 300g of carbs and 200g of protein alone is 1800calories (that's if you don't have ANY fat). Go for good carb sources such as sweet potatoes, oats, bagels, brown rice, cereal, etc.

300 + 200 = 500
500 x 4 = 2000, not 1800.

OP, you won't get those macros with 1600 cals, its impossible. For your refeed, keep protein at 1g/pound of LBM and the rest complex carbs. Stay away from fat because it has no effect on leptin.

I'm planning mine as well. Also going to eat some junk, but after I eat a bit each of:

sweet potatoes, bagels, brown rice, cereal

That was a good answer

Complex carbs not so needed nor recommended, start with HIGH GI carbs like white bread, white bagels etc.. you can eat some candy but no too much(moderate), then move to normal-low GI CARBS , keep fat under 50 grams and protein LBM x1, all the rest carbs
thats what lyle says..

Mid day update: I'm at around 2.3k calories with 325g of carbs, 30g of fat and 175g of protein. Should I have another bagel (I've had 5) or call it quits on the carbs and just have my chick breast dinner?

Thanks in advance!

I think you should go for some mroe carbs. On my refeeds I usually hit a few hundred cals above my maintenance.

You probably want to do some research into how to utilize a proper refeed before you do it again. You have misconceptions (eating under maintenance) and in general seem to anve no idea what you are doing. Buy 'A guide to flexible dieting" by Lyle McDonald.

I have done massive refeeds/cheats where I had like 5k cals and almost all came from carbs. At least 800g of carbs on these days from homemade muffins and oatmeal cookies, FF ice cream, oats, cereal, etc. Don't suggest you do that though lol, I kinda regretted it.
