View Full Version : Cavs crowd = full of bandwagoners

One thing I've noticed over the past few years is that when the Cavs aren't blowing out their opponents, the Quicken Loans Arena is extremely quiet.

Bunch of bandwagon bitches... they don't appreciate what they got right now... hopefully Lebron comes to NY, where the crowd will treat him right.

you're right about the crowd, but aren't NY fans some of the most notoriously fair weathered fans? they show up to the games but if you are sucking they will let you hear it. hmmm.... do you know what you are talking about?

I can't even imagine what the Garden would be like if he did come. (not happening though)

Listen bro, MSG has sold out a good majority of their games over the past 9 years, despite not having a single winning season during that span.

Is that your definition of bandwagon? If they were truly bandwagon fans, they wouldn't show up. They would stay home.

Lebron dunking the ball is the only thing that gets them going.

NY has loyal fans. Whenever the Knicks' crowd does boo the Knicks, they deserved it.

As much as I dislike the Cavs (as well as any Ohio team) you're right. The only fans that are really close would be Philly fans.

I can't argue with that, but I can argue with the fact that you equate that with being a bandwagoner fanbase. It couldn't be any further from the truth.

Did you see MSG when the Cavs came to MSG?

Now put him in a Knicks jersey and x that crowd by 100000. Playing in NY is about accepting the media/fans when you are doing bad. Whether we boo you or not, you will still be loved at the end of the day (if you of course are winning)

People who are criticizing Knicks' fans for booing obviously never seen a Knicks game. How do you not boo a team that plays 0 defense, randomly gives up during the middle of the game or just shoots impossible shots? If a team isn't going to put any effort in the game, then they rightfully deserved to get booed.

Dude you don't fukin cheer when you are 20+ point down and there is 0 things to cheer about. You retarded? God first the Wall threads, now this. I can tell you are 17 year old who started watching basketball this March.

Yea NY are the worst fans in the world(Maybe not as bad as Philly, I donno though). BRB cheering for the other team, LOL.

good point. sh*t in milwaukee, game 6 of the hawks/bucks series. the hawks were beating the sh*t out of the bucks. they had alot to be down about, but they were still cheering at every chance they could to try to help get them back in the game. I didnt know they were like that up there.

Yeah why arent they cheering?

Other than the fact that the Cavs are not only playing like complete ****, but have no tried or shown any effort at all.

same with the thunder being loud as hell. these are fans who don't know what the playoffs are like and these dumb ****s are comparing them to a team who is constantly in the playoffs.

Exactly. Thunder, Nuggets and the Mavs are other examples. Hell, I've heard this crowd quiet in the playoffs when the Cavs are up by a few points. This is a very quiet crowd when Lebron isn't going crazy.

That is because they are LeBron fans, not Cavs fans. As soon as he leaves Cleveland will go back to having one of the worst attendance records in the NBA. The LBJ nuthuggers on this forum are just an example of that entire arena

I meant fairweather. Now you are arguing semantics, you dumb ****. There is no way a crowd which continues to sell out their arena after 9 losing years is in any way fairweather. If they were fair weather, they wouldn't show up.

None of that is fairweather behavior. It's stereotypical New York douchebaggery, but not fairweather.

are you kidding me? BRB cheering for the other team because they are winning. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats the biggest BS ever, in their own house too.

Thats probably as bad as it gets. NY fans don't care who they cheer for as long as they cheer for a winner.

Little do you know there are a lot of people in Ohio who like basketball. HS basketball is pretty big here, and so are the Cavs. Have been ever since I moved to Cleveland. Not going to say that basketball is as big as football, but its not bad at all.

sorry, but

I don't boo the anthem, but I can't stand it when the play the Canadian anthem before a game in the US. If I wanted to hear the Canadian anthem I would go to Canada. I wouldn't have any problem with not hearing the US anthem in Canada if I was visiting.
