What would you rather have as a cheat meal; candy until your heart explodes or a nice three course dinner at dennys? Nutritional wise candy would be better for you correct?

It completely depends. If you have a bowl of oatmeal and eggbeaters from Denny's, thatll be way better than "candy till your heart explodes." Alternatively, a twix bar will be better nutritionally than a bacon + sausage + heavily buttered pancakes w/ syrup and a super creamy sugary coffee.

FYI, I would take a grand slam over a few candy bars and some ice cream anyday.

lets say.. I got a chicken tender dinner with fries/onion rings vs tons of sugary candy.

hahaha.. I mean like only sugary candy such as trolli worms... peach-os.. sour starbursts.. stuff like that.. candy that doesn't contain any chocolate.

What you SHOULD do is work a candy bar or a couple small ones into your overall macros for a regular day... I do it quite often, as I have a pretty strong sweet tooth.

For example, I ate a Kitkat bar today... 210 cals, 11g fat, 27g carbs, 3g protein... Not exactly a backbreaker to fit into a regular day.

Now, Denny's on the other hand, would be much more difficult to fit into a regular day... especially if you plan on eating the deep fried chicken tenders and fries/onion rings which is high in fat/carbs and not too high in protein.

But hey man, it's a cheat.
Do whatever you find more enjoyable.

I love Kit Kat, but I will take a buffet over candy any day if I had to choose one or the other. if I'm gonna cheat, I wanna atleast get some good quality protein.

So basically pure sugar? Denny's would have way more nutritional value then.

I could never binge on just pure candy; I'd literally vomit before I'd get even close lol. Give me real food any day for a cheat!:o

deciding between fast food and candy based on nutritional quality is an effort in futility

Definetly a meal screw candy... even if you eat a ****ty like double quarter pounder with cheese at mcdonalds ur still packin 50+ grams of protein... if you gonna cheat at least get that protein

I don't have a sweet tooth. I'll go to a good restaurant and eat all the fattening foods to my hearts content. Shoot red lobsters chowder with buttered shrimp and a good wine/mixed drink and I'm a happy camper.

Some pro bodybuilders will just eat doughnuts to their hearts content. I could easily do that. Shoot burger fries I'm in!

If im going to cheat with candy...im sick of it by like the 2nd candybar...but if im like cheating with actual meals...i'll make Denny's my bitch.

bang for your buck = savory meal cheat. It's marginal utility is much higher.
