I've been working out now for about 6 weeks, with mostly just creatine and protein. I'll soon be moving to NO Xplode for my pre-workout supplement.

I'm doing my best to learn the proper steps and I know that diet is extremely important. I'm 6'4 and around 195 pounds. My day usually consist of:

Breakfast:
Protein shake
Oatmeal

Lunch:
Turkey/ham sandwich on low-cal bread
mustard
banana
protein shake

Dinner:
It varies here, it's tough, especially when feeding the entire family. But, I do my absolute best to avoid all of the:

Fried
Fast Food
Sugar
Fatty

I also take another protein shake before bed.

I am not currently taking a mult-vitamin or fish oil, which I probably need to start.

My question is, how many calories should I be eating a day? And what kind? I'm trying to start adding more meals, with foods high in protein. Can someone point me in the right direction? Any good articles on there or references that you can direct me to? I just want to find out which foods are good, what's bad, when I should eat carbs, when I shouldn't, etc. Thanks.
