So you're on a long trip and start feeling hungry and pull into a gas station with a conveinence store. What's a relatively healthy choice that isn't too high in calories (keep it under 250 lets say) and can hold over your hunger?

Get a Reese's Big Cup.

200 calories, 12g fat, 22g carbs, 5g protein

...

..

Nom?

But seriously... beef jerky or nuts are probably your best options. Also, tons of gas stations now [around me, anyway] carry protein bars if those float your boat.

Tuna, eggs, jerky, skim milk 600mL

Potato chips are probably better than choc bars.

Maybe even a few cooked hot potato chips would be very satiable and salt is enjoyable.

Throw them in a protein shaker with milk and sugar and drink up.

I'd have to agree with that. When I was over in the states(Florida), any gas station we stopped at had a stupidly large amount of protein bars on sale from your power bars to your nitrotech bars to your carb conscious supreme bars(chunky peanut ones, nom nom). Also like the others said go for jerky/nuts. Buy a tub of PB, some bread and make some pb sandwiches. Get creative. Also pretty sure they would sell fruit to.
