Ok so I had a basketball game at 8 and I went to eat at 6

I had: Some Turkey/Carne Asada steak/Chicken with Broccoli and Hummas. Then I had some cottage cheese with shredded coconut. (all at 615)

Then I had half a sweet potato at 7.

Played my game at 8 and still feel like there is food in my stomach (very full and bloated)
should I still down a whey shake "PWO"

I am thinking not because clearly food is still digesting

If u don't feel the need for the shake then no don't have it..the food IS digesting still.

I don't like to *eat* anything 90 minutes pre-workout unless it's oats & whey (but then it's not really eating, more like slurping ;) )

You should still get your Post workout nutrition in though. Although after B-Ball, carbs are more important than protein.

If carb protein and fat..calories are still in his system and he doesnn't feel like eating..why should he still get in PWO nutrition..nutrients are still being utilized
