so i went to the butcher today because I was running low on stock, and he cut a deal with me. I got 25lbs of sirloin steak for 50 bucks cut in 8 oz pieces, and i also bought 6lbs of chicken for 14 bucks. just goes to show if you go to your butchers and ask him to cut you a deal, never know what your going to get.

theres the 2 big bags up top, and the 1 wrapped in tin foil behind the smokies and tenderloin

aaaahaha. this reminds me of back in '04, when my family (grandma/grandpa, uncle/aunt/cousins, & my mom/sister/i) bought a cow & had it sent to our fellow italian butcher right away for him to chop it all up for us.

we had beef for over a year. xD

idk guys. i just got lucky. it was discounted meat. which is he had the 5lb packs in and nobody bought them so he froze them. they have been frozen for about 2 weeks from him so i got 2 months 2 weeks to eat it all. but chances are it will all be gone in about 1.5 to 2 months. lol

This thread has convinced me to start paying special attention to my butcher. He may an angry old man, but he has helped me out a couple times.
