i'm not saying kickers have an easy job, but IMO games should be determined by touchdowns, period...

i'd be completely fine with doing away with extra points and field goals completely

I feel like I should be committed to stretching for the next year so I can make a run at being a kicker - there's plenty of jobs available now and I'd hate for my 18 years of kiddy soccer to go to waste! ;)

Getting rid of field goal kickers and there would be 50% less white guys playing pro football.

OP, Kris Brown, Jason Elam, Jon Carney, Steven Hauscka (sp?), Nick Folk and Shayne Graham all agree.

Along with Shaun Suisham, Matt Bryant, Mike Nugent...

Hell, guess I need to get back into kicking...NFL, here I come. Give me $100,000 and I'll miss as many field goals as you want. For an extra $100,000, I'll actually MAKE them.

It's a no win situation for a kicker. When a kicker makes a big kick with time running out, the QB gets the glory for getting into field goal territory. If they miss, he blew the game.
