Roy is a beast, has kept the Blazers afloat amongst a ridiculous amount of injuries, but not MVP. He is probably the best deal in the NBA though considering what he gives you for under 4 million (2010)

23 5 5 is good stats, but never have I considered him for MVP discussion.

Lebron is 29 8 7. Kobe is 30 4 5.5. Anthony is 30 6.5 4.

Nash is even 19 11 3, and I'd give HIM MVP before I did Roy.

Stats shouldn't be a measure of MVP even though they usually are. Take away Roy and the Blazers are nothing.

Take away Nash, and the Suns would be nothing. Take away Lebron, and the Cavs would be nothing. Take away Kobe, and the Lakers would only be a 7th or 8th seed team.

But when you add these 3 players, all 3 of them make their teams better than Portland.

Agree with James, disagree with Nash and Kobe.

Mavericks have a good team without Dirk, even though he may be the centre of the offence. They have Kidd, Terry, Marion, etc. and while all may compliment Dirk, his value to the Mavs weighs far less than Roy to the Trail blazers.

Agree with Wade, but his team isn't doing as well as the Blazers. Agree with Durant as well, but same argument as Wade's.

Just look at the Trail Blazers roster.. they're starting PG is Andre Miller who is averaging a career low in assists, and they have a bright, up-and-coming forward in Aldridge. After that and this team is non-existent.

Bynum is one of the best Centers in the West, Gasol is one of the best power forwards in the West, Artest is pure defense, Odom is always close to sixth man of the year, and Fisher hits big shots and plays good defense. Shannon Brown would be a decent starting shooting guard on a team that dominates the paint, seeing as how he is shooting 45% and would average around 15 points a game playing Kobe's minutes.

Thunder is the 8th seed in the West.

That lineup would beat the Thunder, dominating the team in the paint and being able to slow down Durant with 2 7 footers in the paint.

I agree with everything you said except for the bolded words.

Bynum has so much potential. As of right now he is lazy and won't go after rebounds, he could easily get 13-15 rebounds a game if he hustled. He is a blackhole on offense, he gets the ball and rarely passes.

Derek Fisher FG % 37
3p % 35

-He's slow, all the quick point guards kill us causing our defense to collapse.
-Has horrible shot selection, takes mid range jumpers on 3 on 1 fastbreaks EVERY game.
-Can't make a damn layup to save his life.
-Horrible post entry passes.

Can someone name a starting point guard worse than Derek Fisher?

Jose Calderon. His defense makes me cringe, and Raps have the best record in the league after he gets injured.

I'd trade Fisher for Calderon in a heartbeat

Uhh Gasol, Odom, Bynum, and Artest aren't enough to take the lakers to the playoffs....? Thats at least 2 all stars

meanwhile the rockets are sitting at 7th seed with no all stars

Laker fans downgrade all players around Kobe to make Kobe look better than he is.
