Hmmm...setting players (free agents) parents up in houses won't work like it did in the NCAA.

wow this is huge two of the biggest names in college football coaching may not be with there respected teams ever again...first urban meyer and now carroll. in lesser news USF coach jim levitt was fired lol. i would love to see carroll go to the NFL though, he failed once with the jets in the 90s and it`ll be interesting to see how much he changed in coaching in the NFL.

I doubt it. He previously said he would never go to the NFL because he doesn't enjoy the atmosphere and rather coach kids that love the game.

Why would he leave USC for Seattle? The women and weather alone are enough reasons to stay.

The Seahawks will still finish with a mediocre record or worse. He's a coach who needs talent all around him to win.

Seahawks of plenty of talent, they just need the right coach who can make everyone play to their potential and they need to stay healthy.

doubt it.

and if they are "coming" they probably won't come for another 70 years since the NCAA is so worthless.

He's leaving because the NCAA might actually do something about all the cheating they've been doing at U$C.

lol @ you thinking this is some coincidence that he's all the sudden interested in an NFL job after a mediocre season and serious NCAA allegations

lol @ you thinking the only reason a coach would go to the NFL is because of NCAA ALLEGATIONS - key word allegations. Like anyone is fukking scared of the NCAA  man you're dumb. he's been in the NFL before you idiot, it's only a matter of time before he goes back.

that might just be because the head coach just left, not necessarily because he's gonna be drafted by them

as a seahawks fan, I'm definitely not opposed to the idea if we can get him late enough though

I didn't mean he's leaving to try to get drafted by Carroll.

I meant McKnight is leaving because he would have to give back his illegal benefits and would be suspended.

what's going on in this thread?

I dunno, let's find out.

will USC sanctions be lifted before the conference comes together?

o wait, NCAA cut a deal with U$C and they're just hoping the lack of sanctions gets overshadowed by the expansion talk

yeah some "deal".

well when they are in the USC atmosphere where they can break any rules/laws they want, they just carry it into the NFL

You mean a bad Pac-10 team in the Rose Bowl?

They get killed if they play in the NC against the SEC.

typical USC hater/SEC bandwagoner. Carry on hater.
