That's what I'm thinking. This is such a bummer for the sport of boxing not matter who your a fan of in this one. It would have been badass period.

Marketing stunt?

That's what I've been thinking. On ESPN in previous articles they were saying that this is in no marketing ploy to hype the fight. It's really not going to happen.

This is serious!!

I think Mayweather was just looking for a way out of the fight. Supposedly people on his side were trying to convince Mayweather to accept the mediation contract but he didn't. Pacman accepted it.

Pretty disappointed by both fighters and promoters. I'm a Mayweather fan but I just want this damn fight to happen, he knows that Manny isn't going to adhere to really tough testing so there has to be some sort of middle ground.

Pacquiao had agreed to move off his hard-line stance of refusing a blood test inside 30 days before the fight, but Mayweather wouldn't budge off his desire for random testing all the way until the fight, Arum said. Nor would Mayweather agree to a public apology for remarks he made accusing Pacquiao of using performance-enhancing drugs, Arum said.

...

Arum said Pacquiao agreed to shorten the window for a blood test to 24 days before the fight. In order to receive a Nevada boxing license, Pacquiao took the standard annual blood test 24 days before his May 2009 fight with Ricky Hatton.

that's ****ing bull**** that they cannot compromise on this 1 detail... come on guys... cut off blood testing at 2 weeks before the fight, have a blood test after the fight, and get paid... WTF you idiots

in b4 Mayweather-Pacman fight in late 2010.

Mayweather is probably trying to do this to get more training time in.

I truthfully think they're gonna fight eventually.. Maybe Freddie the Joke coach Roach wanted his boy to get his 8th title before he got exposed..

They all agreed to the fight. All the advisors and promoters. Well everyone but Floyd.

At this point I think it's pretty obvious who the one using the drug testing as a cop-out is. Hint: it's not Manny.

Dan rafael, skip and the rest at 1st take on espn blasting mayweather

Pac must be on steroids cuz he doesn't want to take the tests to prove his innocence.

Just like women in the 1800s didn't want to be burned at the stake to prove they weren't witches

This fight will happen later this year. September is the earliest

Will you please quit with that sill analogy about witches.

He's offered to take the tests. He's compromised. You are acting like he flat out said he would have additional testing. The fact is he has agreed to it.
