Just heard it on Mike Francesa NY Sports Radio... offensive coordinator for the Chiefs. Don't see any news any where on it yet, so I guess it just happened.

Not surprised at all since the Chiefs have Matt Cassell.

Weiss, Romeo Crennel is going to get hired to run the defence (apparently he was suppose to get hired last season but he had hip surgery and wasn't healthy enough to do it) ...the K.C. Patriots...interesting...

You can pretty much kiss Charles production good bye. Weis will use 8 different RBs a game and throw 80% of the game.

Didn't Corey Dillon have 1600 yards one year?

if we turn back into a legit team then i dont give a ****. The Chiefs have one of the most loyal fan bases in the NFL and that fan base is starting to falter unless we start improving fast. i remember back in beginning part of this decade when everygame was sold out. our last homegame this year was blacked out. all the kids today know of the chiefs is some ****ty team that everbody talks about that used to be good and won a superbowl back in 1800s or something.

I feel for the loyal fan base (like the Red Sox loyals) - when their team wins superbowl/ultimate series the happiness is just unbounded! Its better than anything in the world.. I wished that for Cardinal fans last Superbowl!

Yes, but Dillon was a monster every down back. Charles looked good at the end of the year, but its not like he played all year and he is pretty small. All of these Patriot guys go for the multi back offense.

Do you think Weis would try to get the team to draft one of his own players from ND?

Golden Tate comes to mind.

He worked with Todd Haley at the Jets too back in the day, reunion in KC. I think its a good move for the Chiefs, I expect Cassell to come on big next year

Rumor has it that Romeo Crennell will also join the squad
