View Full Version : Whey and creatine ?

Hi ,
I have CHAMPION NUTRITION'S POWER CREATINE and CYTOSPORT's COMPLETE WHEY PROTEIN .
Can someone suggest me how to take these at what time , what proprotion etc. ?
This is my first time with creatine and whey , although I have been going to gym for some time .
Help me guys

Read the labels. In general, that is a basic creatine monohydrate, if you dose it at 2-5 grams/day it will take about a month to reach a saturation point. There is no need to "load" but if you wanted to, you could take about 20grams/day for about a week, and you could reach saturation faster. Before reaching saturation, probably the best timing for creatine is either pre or post workout (just have it with your shake). After the saturation point is reached, then timing the creatine ingestion with other substrates will have little additional benefit, if at all.

The whey is just a simple convenient form of protein. Take it whenever you want protein but don't have time to cook meat/fish.
