View Full Version : For LeBron Fans: Stats Aren't Everything!

I always hear LeBron supporters say he's better than Kobe just based on his superior stats, and that he's a better teammate and team player than Kobe because he has more assists. Like LeBron likes to proudly wear on his shirts... "check the $tats" they say. The difference in the offensive systems appears to bounce off their thick, hollow skulls.

Yet, for some reason, in the 4+ seasons that Kobe has been the lead dog in the triangle offense, his production exceeds that of even the GOAT during his 6 championship seasons with the Bulls. See for yourselves

KOBE BRYANT
30.6 PPG
5.7 RPG
5.0 APG

MICHAEL JORDAN
30.2 PPG
6.3 RPG
4.8 APG

Yes, you are reading that right. Kobe Bryant from the start of the 2005 season til now is averaging more points and assists in the triangle than Jordan did during his six championship seasons with the Bulls. Yet, Kobe gets ragged on for being selfish and not a team player by those who support LeBron's style of play; they would never think to say the same about Jordan. So, since Kobe averages more assists in this sample than Jordan, does that mean he's a better teammate and less selfish than Jordan, the consumate champion and teammate of the 90s? I'm interested to see the logic of LeTot's on this one...

In jordan's 6 championship seasons he avg. 30.5ppg.

Anyways, everyone knows the playoffs are what separates the men from the boys. The great ones averages surpass their regular season averages and that's what jordan did.

Let's compare their playoff avg.'s and see who comes out on top.

Jordan did everything on the basketball court better than kobe could ever dream of. Fukkin fakeass jordan.

Jordan > Kobe
