This is completely serious and need advice.

I used to weigh about 85kg and was fairly lean.I dieted and competed a few weeks back (dieted on 2000cal for 14 weeks) and got to 76kg. Anyway I did the big post contest binge as people do and I am about 88kg now but not as lean as I was pre-comp.

The question here is that I want to bulk (relatively clean) to about 95kg (aiming by Xmas next year).

I am still kind of bloated and have been eating about 3500cals the last week but feel like i'm putting on fat.

Would it be beneficial to drop the cals back to 2000 for a week and restart a clean bulk slowly? It seems I upped cals too quick. I'm about 179cm too or 5"11.

Today I was going to eat like this;

1 cup oats + scoop protein (370cal?)
braised chick+rice+greens(550cal)
tuna+brown rice pre weights(??)
200g chick+broc/sweet potato post workout
cottage cheese pre bed

I had been eating about 7 meals before so figure this may help?

Anyone got advice please

It was mostly water weight, keep going like you were

But my abs have completely gone?

How long should the "bloat" take to go away? I thought my abs should be back by now (15 days)

They are covered 90%, can faintly see the serratus now (could see them before contest cutting - abs/serratus)

15 days (post contest), lots of binging and eating in that time

a good deal of it will be water weight and waste still in your system, some of it fat and a bit of it muscle if you have been lifting during this period of overfeeding

Contest dieting and post diet binging would put a toll on your body i would think. OP you need to just stop the binging, get a hold of yourself mentally and get back into a routine if that's best for you. If you are really overfeeding for 15days i don't know if you should consider another show in all honesty, that's not a good thing to be doing.

I have been doing 30mins - 1 hour cardio (walking outside) per day and doing weights (heavy) 5 days per week while doing all this too.

I am trying to get back on the healthy eating.

Like today I have had (I don't know how these macro's are looking)
1 cup oats + scoop protein (370cal?)
braised chick+rice+greens(550cal)

Gonna have this soon
tuna+brown rice pre weights(??)

Then hit the weights and have some chicken and sweet potato then cottage cheese.

I dont know if that is too much or too little. I am finding it hard to judge since this weight gain and crap eating in the last 2 weeks (I never ate bad before)

If you want to get rid of the water weight, drop cals down to around matainence, up your water intake, and hit it hard. Track everything. The bloat should start to subside and then you can slowly start to add calories back in.

That's what I was aiming for today, 2400 clean calories or so and lots of water. :)

Thanks

Or should I be eating more then that?

When I look at other peoples bulking diets they seem to be having 3500-4000 calories.

Further to this, I did a calculator from here (yes I know they are a rough guide) and it said my maintanence was 3517 calories... (not including weights workout)

Shouldn't I be losing weight then on days like today?
