View Full Version : Week 5 BYE situation.... fairly screwed

Ok, so I'm in trouble for week 5. Decided to try planning ahead a bit, and this is what I saw-

Aaron Rodgers- Bye
Matt Forte- Bye
Vincent Jackson- Bye
Pierre Thomas- Bye
Donald Driver- Bye
Calvin Johnson- vs. Pitt

So I'll be without my starting QB, 2 of my 3 starting RBs (including flex), and 1 of my 2 starting WRs (and my #1 has a really tough matchup... I don't like a rookie QB vs the Steelers D). Will prob just start Dwayne Bowe in VJax's spot, so I should be ok at WR. Who are some good guys to go after? I'll list the top WW QBs and RBs, w their matchups for that week. Thanks for any help.... its .2 PPR, 6 points per TD for QBs.

Big Ben- Detroit
Trent Edwards- Cleveland
Kyle Orton- New England
Kerry Collins- Indy
Garrard- Seattle
Favre- St Louis
Kolb- Tampa (If McNabb is still out, he's prob gonna be my guy)

LeSean McCoy- Tampa (will prob grab him if Westy is still out)
Willie Parker- Detroit
Julius Jones- Jax
Correll Buckhalter/Knowshon Moreno- New England
Fred Taylor- Denver
Jamal Lewis- Buffalo
Ahmad Bradshaw- Oakland

Anyone else screwed with 1 of their bye weeks?

QB--I'd take Ben cuz Det isn't that good. RB I'd take JJones cuz he's been scoring good fantasy points.

I'd take the L and just come back in week 6 with a still solid team?

It's fantasy football last year I got into the playoffs at 8-5 and won my league.

You can take the L and just move on or you can drop/add like mad and potentially f up the rest of your season.
