what if you intake your amount of macros are reached but your calories didnt catch up for the day to what your intake is suppose to be? does that matter if you reach the goal for the day in macros? I`m guess it doesnt matter for losing but maintaining and bulking it does matter huh?

It may matter for all of that depending on the actual calorie intake. If you eat less than you want on a bulk you won't gain the way you are shooting for. If you eat less that what you need to maintain, you will lose weight. If you eat less than you should on a cut you may be putting you muscle sparing goal in jeopardy.

Not hitting your calorie goal will have some effect, how big depends on how how often you miss and how bady.

... Wut?

Macros = Value of carbs / protien / fat

Carbs / protien / fat = calories.

How can you hit your macros and not hit your calories?

Are you asking if you hit the correct percentages, just didn't eat enough? In that case... you didn't eat enough. Diet is about 70-90% of the results from weight gain / loss depending on who you ask, missing meals regularly can be more detrimental than missing a workout.
