I was just wondering what people eat when they first get up, I usually have a large meal with some special K strawberry cereal with a few scoops of whey. It prob not the best thing to have though because of the lactose (slow digesting). Anyone have any better meals to take advantage of their morning insulin spike?

This is probably almost the exact same thing I have on most occasions pre-workout when i get up at 4:30am. Grab a slice of homemade, Eziekel Cinnamon Raisin, or Men's Bread and slap on a nut butter, apple butter, or honey and grab a shake to down w/ it.

6 to 9 egg whites.

I eat them once I arrive at work. Before that in the mornings (when I workout) it's Whey + RecoverPro pre/post workout.

RecoverPro is the new 4:1:1 BCAA product by Anabolic Innovations.

I take 3 scoops during my workout and 3 scoops immediately following. It is AWESOME!

Every morning I either have 1 cup of oatmeal mixed with a banana, half cup of Goji berries, some salba, a tablespoon of fish oil, and a bit of maple syrup.
Or an egg white omelette with some chicken and veggies mixed in.

LoL, figuring that. I like to get some food in me early, but I usually workout around 5:30-6:00. I mainly just need to focus on getting to bed a little earlier so I do get enough sleep.

What time do yall usually get up and eat ?
