I'm trying to eat more food to gain weight. I like to eat healthy foods so i try to include vegetables at every meal. The only thing is that i noticed if i eat the vegetables i get full very quickly and am unable to eat more carbs and protein. should i cut the vegetables out altogether so i can eat more food? are they necessary?

This is a tricky one because vegetables are so dang good for you. you are getting full because of the fiber rich foods you are eating. fiber does funny things with your body, it slows the absorbtion of carbohydrates and keeps you feeling full for a long time. One strategy would be to eat your vegetables last in your meal.

I would never say don't eat your vegetables, they have a lot to offer in and of themselves. On the other hand, it is probably not a good idea to force feed yourself; your body tells your brain that it is full for a reason.
