Does anyone have suggestions for where to go to find out a reasonably accurate estimate as to what my BMR would be? This seems like it'd be pretty important for anyone regardless of whether they're cutting, bulking, or whatever, and I'm not really sure if those online calculators cut it.

Thanks for your suggestions.

The Harris-Benedict equation is as good a guide as almost any, save for possibly the "Total Metabolism Forecasting tool" in the stickied thread (I'm not sure how accurate this is but I'd hope this would give a better approximation)

However, the best way to find your BMR is by counting calories and monitoring your body weight.

Check the sticky at the top of the page called "Total Metabolism Forecaster". It will take to you an MS Excel spreadsheet that was pretty accurate for me.
