I'm going to be starting a cut tomorrow, and I need some new ideas on what to bring to work with me for snacks. I'm tired of the usual stuff I eat, and when you've been at for a couple years, sometimes you get mentally stuck in a rut and it's tough to think about new ideas for food.

Obviously I'll be supplementing with protein shakes, but I'm at work for 9 hours a day, and on a cut I like to eat every 2-3 hours so that usually means I gotta bring 3-4 meals/snacks with me to work. So I'm interested to hear what tasty ideas you might have. Thanks in advance and of course reps are on the table for good posts.

Maybe some beef jerky?

Beef Jerky, cheese sticks, any sort of nut, yogurt, cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, etc

Do you have access to a fridge/microwave? If so, the possibilities are endless.

Fruit and veggies are great for cutting too.

maybe try some stuff like quaker rice cakes (put some peanut butter on it?) or popsecret 98% fat free popcorn (its basically all air, theres nothing in the stuff but fills u up)... or try oatmeals, or dry cereals (like smartstart/cheerios etc)

beef jerky isn't too bad. A lot of sodium though, and it is kind of pricy.

I do have a fridge and a microwave available at work, and usually I bring a very large cooler with me too.

****, I hate cottage cheese. I've tried so hard to eat it, but I can just never bring myself to do it. Thanks for the encouraging words though.

Try mixing it in with some fat-free flavored yogurt. Great little cut snack.

What sort of work environment is it? In my office I used to have a lot of tuna at my desk but started getting comments about the smell!

What about making or buying some sushi? Have a couple of pieces every few hours... or some home made pita snacks, some nuts or crackers were some of my faves.

And fruit, love having free fruit at work!

Thanks for all the posts and suggestions guys. I was pretty pissed when I went to the grocery store tonight, and they didn't have yogurt WTF! I wanted to make "protein paste" which is yogurt+natty PB=delicious.

I picked up a dehydrator recently and have been making my own jerky. So much cheaper in the long run and much healthier, makes a great snack and can use any type of meat i love it.

Also i am a nut freak (no homo) always stocked up on almonds, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, walnuts and macadamia nuts.
