They were having an argument on some chicago sports radio station about this...


Kerry Woods 20 strike out game - CG 1 hitter, which was arguably an error. only done 4 times ever

Mark Buehrles perfect game - not much to say about this, perfect game, only 18 ever

inb4 poll

oh and try not to vote if you're a cubs/sox fan.

i went with the 20 strikeouts. i've seen that game. kerry was so dominant b4 his injuires.
buehrle got bailed out by wise anyways.

Buehrle's perfect game was pitched against the team with the highest obp of any team that has had a perfect game thrown against it. to me that is more impressive. although wood's game was also very impressive.

I voted Buerhle. You gotta remember he did this against the Devil Rays who are a pretty damn good hitting team.

And Wood did it against an Astros team that went on to win 102 games and the Central division. Guys like Bagwell, Biggio, Bell, and Alou were on that team.

The 98 Stros > 09 Rays

wow i thought for sure it would go the other way, even the cubs announcers picked the perfect game.
