I'm planning my pre-workout meal (90 mins before the workout begins) and I'm kinda stuck and so I'm asking for some adivce/experience (even it's a bit freaky :) )

100g Oats
600ml Skim Milk
10g Whey

Are the Carbs+Protein 90 minutes later available/digested or does it take longer to make them available my workout.

should I cook them up to increase the GI and make them faster/easier to digest ?

... again I'm looking for some experience and not for some "got to find it out on your own, bra"

I don't eat a lot before WO otherwise I feel bloated and uncomfortable. My preWO (2h before training) is:
- homemade protein bar (15g whey/15-20g oats/1egg white)
- 250 ml skimmed milk
- banana (optionnal)

that's roughly 200-300 cal

100g oats + 600 ml milk seems to be a lot for me. You still will be disgesting during your WO.

Don't begin to worry about high GI pre/post-WO.

Try it once and see how you feel. adapt your next pre-WO meals according to your feeling.
