Which do you prefer to buy? At the minute, I'm buying fresh which is cheaper then buying it packed from a superstore, but only because I'm not sure whether frozen chicken would be as beneficial...

From Sam's I get fresh chick tenderloins for <$2/lb. .5 grams of fat 23 grams of protein in 3 oz. Can't beat it. Makes it so I only spend $30/month on chicken.

On a side note, I then split it up into 4 lb contains, keep one in the fridge unfrozen at all times and keep the rest frozen.

Nutritionally, you mean? There's no difference, it's the same bird. Just colder.
