As we all know, LT had a down season last year (While still rushing for 1100 yards) but what do you think he will do this year, I think he might have a few good season left in him, I think he is 29 which is getting on the older side for HB's.

Over 1500 yards
15 rushing
2 receiving
1 pass (Haven't seen one of those in a while)

We know that when healthy, LT's as good as it gets

1300 yards or so. He'll be their main RB but he's not going to dominate like he did a few years ago. San Diego's defense is going to be where the team really shines this year.

I think there's a guy up in Minnesota that you're forgetting about.

And also...... see sig......

Of course not. How could I forget Adrian "Fumble" Peterson. As for the original LT, guy was a fukking monster. Easily the best linebacker of all time. Also thought it was weird there are 2 big time players with the same nickname. Like if some new player got the nickname, "Sweetness" or "The Minister of Defense", there would be a lot of pissed off fans so I know where you're coming from. Cant change it though, and just gotta live with it. The way I see it is Lawrence Taylor is the defensive LT, and LaDainian Tomlinson as the offensive LT.

Probably a 1000 yard season but nothing special.

Pulls his hammy on the first snap of the first game. Get's 100 carries for the year. Chargers makes playoffs. LT healthy enough to play but holds himself out of the game as a precautionary measure. Charges bail 1st round.

Same ****. Different Pile.

800 yards and 8 TDs. I think he is finished, too many years as the whole offense.

i was gonna say 1,100 total yards..

10 total tds

imo hes gonna hit a wall this year in terms of production, and being elite

With most teams going with tandem backs I see LT who has been affected by injuries the last 2 seasons sharing time and having a similar year to last year in terms of numbers.........especially with the way Sproles filled in last year.

LT has been retired for decades

LT2 should hit about 1400 YFS and a dozen or so TDs

I want LT to have atleast 1 more dominant season and the Chargers better not dissapoint me again, they have gotten my hopes up time and time again

I feel as long as everyone's healthy we have a really good chance. I think this year is our greatest chance though because of all the people we may lose next year. A lot are big names too.

Philip Rivers
Antonio Gates
Darren Sproles
Shawne Merriman
Vincent Jackson
Chris Chambers
Marcus Mcneill

Thats a lot of key players. I know for sure Rivers will be getting a big fat contract, and Gates already said hes willing to take a hometown discount, but thats probably something money can change. Hopefully they can work something out with Jackson, and they will probably release Chambers. They'll probably smack the franchise tag on Merriman too. Would love to keep Mcneill and Sproles, but thats less likely. We really got to make the most of the players we have now.

Out in week 4 with an ankle injury.

I'm not wishing an injury on him, just saying he is turning fragile.

yea, it's to the point where I just don't expect him to play in the playoffs anymore, 2 seasons in a row he's been injured

There wont be any 1100 yards when he breaks down. It will be a 400-800 yard year like everyone else when they finally turn 30. Mosy everyone is fine and then they have a dramatic drop like Alexander and then it is over. Hate to say it about the guy because he seems like a good dude, but look at all the RBs that fall apart the year after getting over 320 carries and look at how many times LT2 flirted with those numbers.

imo.... I think its funny when people predict an injury in the nfl... but anyways

I think LT isn't finished, when he was healthy he dominated against the broncos (even though it is the broncos)

I think LT is if not one of the best, the best at knowing how his body/ injury is doing, he knows the difference between when he is hurt and when he is injured. When you have a great hold on that, recovery is that much quicker and that much better a recovery.

I don't think his numbers will be as astonishing as they once were, b/c Rivers and the rest of the passing attack has really come threw.... but I can see him having more or a role like brian westbrook were he gets used alot in the passing attack.

with that said im thinking around 2000 Total yards from scrimmage, and around 19 Total TD's

They franchised Sproles @ 6.6 million bucks. That wasn't to ride the pine. Sproles is a better weapon in the passing game now. No way does Tomlinson get enough touches to sniff 2000 total yards. He would be lucky to get 1400-1500 total. Damn lucky.

LdT has only totalled 2000 yards 3x in his career...

2006 when he had 348 carries and 56 catches
2003 when he had 313 carries and 100 catches
2002 when he had 372 carries and 79 catches
