He's admitting guilt but serving much less than the 15 years he may have gotten. If Mike Vick got 1 year for killing dogs, how much should Stallworth get for killing another human?

I'm thinking 5 years, which would pretty much end his football career as he would be 33-34 when he gets out.

im not so sure. he wouldnt ahve accepted the deal if it meant he was going to serve significant time. he more than likely may only end up spending 1 or 2 years in jail. he had a shot at not getting any time in trial because of professionals saying that the accident would ahve happened with or without alcohol.

mike vick got 23 months...

and this guy better get at leaast 4-5, i mean if he gets off and only goes to jail for a few months and does community service instead, that just shows how corrupt the ****in justice system is. if i went out and killed someone drunk with a car, i'd be in the slammer for 10.

The real question is will Goodell see the ridiculous sentence and punish him even further from the NFL?

Realistically, he should be banned from the NFL longer than Vick and Plax.

If Goodell had balls and was any kind of a man, he would come out with a statement this week about how ridiculous and unjust 30 days in jail is, and in order to make it a little more just, Stallworth will never again play in the NFL. He needs to do this otherwise he's just the NFL's version of David Stern.

That would be a horrible idea for him from a buisness stand point.

Why would he come out and attract more attention to the NFL and make them look like more thugs when he could just quietly suspend Stallworth for a few games and let somebody in the NBA take all the attention after they do something stupid.

Maybe he needs to enforce the zero tolerance policy. And make an example of what can be taken from you if you choose to break the law.

The guy killed contributed as much to his death as Stallworth by being negligent. There was never enough evidence to prove being drunk caused Stallworth to hit the guy and that's why the prosecution was happy to see a plea deal happen.

Goddell can't go ahead of the legal system by sending a message. A lot of people wish Vick got much, much more time then he got. It isn't up to Goddell to punish Stallworth mroe because the courts didn't. He took a plea, and that's that.

He could've easily served no jailtime. If it was a slamdunk where he would've obviously served 10+ years, there wouldn't have been a plea.

I say he gets 8 games.

PTI Just brought up a damn good point.

Donte Stallworth cooporated with police the whole time while Mike Vick didn't and tried to cover up anything.

Had vick cooporated how long do you think he would be in Jail?
