My ears have been plugged lately, and I hear you can get it from lifting weights? Is that true?

I wondered if it was seasonal allergies, but I don't have allergies that I know of??? Hmmm

I highly doubt it has anything to do with lifting weights! It's more likely to be that you're about to get a cold, have just had a cold, sinuses my be blocked (as you said possibly from allergies), or too much wax in your ears (in which case DO NOT use a q-tip).

Hmmm. I haven't had a cold--maybe I am getting one.

Saw some articles online about plugged ears, and lifting weights....

Wondered if anyone else experienced it.

again that's not from lifting weights. It may seem to exacerbate it for those people since it causes even more exertion on abnormal muscular tension BUT as stated they are already predisposed to Eustachian tube dysfunction, so no it's not the weight lifting in itself.
