My sports season is finally over and now I am looking to tune my work-outs to include more heavy lifting. I used to just squeeze in one leg day and one upper body day/week. What kind of splits to you ladies do/recommend?

a compound split would be a one good to begin with
3 days compound split
Chest/tricep/shoulders
Back/biceps
Legs/calf

4 days compound split
chest/tricep
Back/bicep
Legs
Shoulders/abs/calf

!...but how many days a week you wanna lift?

Thanks for the feedback. I have actually been following a split like the first one you posted. Seems to be working so far.

I usually do the 4 days split, but not quite sure if I should do 1 day on, 1 day off or 2 day on 1 day off? I'm working on muscle growth. Thoughts?
