Background: Played varsity all Freshman-Junior years of high school lacrosse. Got injured senior year. Went off to my freshman year of college and pigged out. Back at home now and am trying to get back into shape. Just weighed myself and I am 270 lbs at 5 11'......not good. Went into college at 5 11' 235 with a good amount of muscle as I did lift then.

My plan. Dave Palumbo's Cut Diet and Rippetoes with some change in each.

Meal 1 4 whole Omega-3 eggs
Meal 2 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup raw almonds
Meal 3 50g whey with 2 tablespoons all natural peanutbutter
Meal 4 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
Meal 5 50 g whey with 2 tablespoon PB
Meal 6 4 whole eggs

(Changed Meal 1 and 6 to four eggs instead of the six. Can this work or should it be kept at six)

Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
1x5 Deadlift

Workout B
3x5 Squat
3x5 Standing military press
3x5 Power cleans

Will also be throwing in dumbbell exercises and ab work.

Cardio: Because of the Dave Palumbo diet, I know I cannot do high intensity. I will be walking 30 minutes in the morning, and an hour at night up until August at which time I will be starting some jogging and or/sprinting.

Goal: Get in better condition so I can get back into lacrosse and play for a Over 18 Recreational League. Looking to drop fat and retain and even gain some muscle.

Will this work. If not, can you please explain why or substitutes. Thank you.
